STORY DESCRIPTION:

In the humble setting of a slum in Caracas, La Rosa Negra, Flor and Alzubey take on to find the best sorcerer of the city. One consultation after another, between cigar smoke and incantations, the sorcerers fall into trance to communicate with spirits. Will they be able to tell whether La Rosa Negra is responsible for the death of her son or to release the spirit inside of Flor's body? Through skepticism and open-hearted revelations, emerges a compelling story of friendship and the battle against loneliness and guilt.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Passionate about film and the image more generally, Ananda pursued a course at the School of Fine Arts in Marseille from 2003 to 2008 where she experimented the video through all its forms. She quickly got interested in documentary or «reality cinema». Meanwhile, Myriam continues her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Provence and also gathers momentum in the artistic world. It was not until 2008 that Ananda and Myriam decided to work together. After a first film co-directed and co-produced in 2008, «Canta, no llores» (medium-length film 52 ‘, Venezuela), they decided to continue their collaboration and directed a second film in 2010, «El Unico Pensamiento de Nelson Garrido» (medium-length film 52 ‘, Venezuela). Finally it is after their third trip to Venezuela in 2011 that they began writing De que Vuelan, Vuelan, a project produced by Wendigo Films.
