Antonia is a forty year old transsexual well aware that she will never be a real woman.
Dimitri, a young author, wants to make a documentary about her.
Unexpectedly, a deep relationship is created between the two. This friendship will automatically involve Dimitri in the documentary and will allow him to discover several curious aspects of Antonia, a transsexual who feels sentimentally alone.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Dimitri Singenberger, born in 1990, studied audiovisual sciences at the film school CISA-International Academy of Audiovisuel Sciences in Lugano-Switzerland.
During the three years of study, he directs two thirty minute documentaries (A life “On the road” and “Antonia”); movies in which he tries to capture his characters as naturally and simply as possible, in order to give more freedom to the reality of his main charachters's stories.
In June 2013, Dimitri finished the school where he trained to become a director. He obtains a filmmaker Federal diploma (SSSAA-Switzerland).
