DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Gaia Bonsignore was born and raised in Italy, but moved to Austin, in Texas in 2006 to make movies. Her passion about film making since 2002 brought her around the world to study, watch, love and make movies. She completed her MFA in Film Production at the University of Texas at Austin this year. She wrote, directed and edited the short films The Hallway (2006), Live your Cinema! The Austin Media Arts (2009), Valentina (2012), Beautiful Radiant Things (2012), Love in Five Acts (2012) and Bye Bye blackbird. Her work was appreciated both in Europe and in USA. Some of the festivals are the Austin Film Festival, Austin Film Society Showcase/SXSW, Ten Under Ten Film Festival, Prescott Arizona Film Festival, South by Southwest Reel Women Showcase, Mostra del Cinema dello Stretto Film Festival, Taormina Film Festival and more.
