STORY DESCRIPTION:

The documentary „Blickwechsel – Vantage Point“ accompanies twenty teenagers from the “Jugendclub Schauspiel Stuttgart” - the youth club of the theater Stuttgart, Germany on their way to a new, self developed play. The teenagers spend three days together, always blindfolded and not able to see a thing to discover wonderful, scary and new things. With that conclusion, to find something new by taking something away, they create the play “Im Augenblick – in this instant”, which had its opening night on the 12 of July 2012 in Stuttgart and won the golden bird of the “Papageno Award for international Youth Theatre” for best production. The 29-minute long documentary “Blickwechsel – Vantage Point”, directed by Peter Stein and Thomas Galle shows this unusual way of creating a new play with a lot of heart and fun.
