"das Almas" is a highly poetic and ethereal documentary on a fishing village on the Northeast of Brazil, where the fishermen, who have an unique method of fishing, are split between their work at the sea and the legends of the palestine Milaide Tahim, who achieved popular beatification. The movie was shot on the same location that has rendered photographer Roberto Linsker the National Geographic of the year award on 2002.
