Rocky Braat never really liked kids. But because of a whimsical choice he made five years ago, he now lives in Tamil Nadu India, caring for a group of HIV positive orphans. They’re his life-- and his visa is up for review. The odds are he’ll be sent away from those he loves most. The only chance he has is to become an Indian citizen, and let go, forever, of any hold his friends and family in America still have on him.

Steve has been a close friend of Rocky’s (aka Blood Brother) for over ten years. Since Rocky has left the States, they’ve stayed in touch any way they can. The powerful stories that Rocky has shared inspired Steve to create this documentary.Steve Hoover lives in Pittsburgh, PA. He has directed over sixty music videos, including ‘Fireflies’ from Owl City, which was the number one video worldwide, and for which he received a platinum record. His work has been shown on virtually every media outlet imaginable, and has amassed over 100 million Youtube views.Steve was named one of Alternative Press’ 2010 innovators of the year for his work in the music video industry. He is now a director at Animal, a production and VFX house.This is Steve’s first feature film.
