Manuel's father has passed away, but he has his thesis film to make. As he soldiers on, the making of the movie begins to parallel his grief. Scenes from the thesis film are interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage of the struggle to complete the film after a series of drawbacks force him to re-think the project and face what he's been avoiding.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
A recent graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinema and Television, Manuel has worked as an editor on several projects and as an assistant editor on numerous reality shows. Born and raised in Modesto, California, Manuel completed a bachelor’s degree in communication and in Spanish at Stanford University. Llast autumn he directed Will Ferrell in a short film for the opening of the gala event celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the USC School of Cinema-Television.
