New York City, 1976. An operation room. A medical team is finishing surgery. And it's time to take the patient back. But when the elevator gets stuck, the two « doctors » only have a few minutes to save their lives before their patient wakes up: a grown-up gorilla.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Medical Doctor and a graduate of ESSEC, it is like humanitarian doctor for UNICEF in Madagascar that Jean-François Hassoun made his first documentary on the fight against AIDS in 1994. He spent ten years in Africa (Madagascar, Tunisia), Brazil and Sweden and joined the Canal + group. He then moved to film and follows the Cours Florent. He directed documentaries and reports for Arte, TF1, France Televisions, Canal + Afrique and Planète. He made a first short fiction "Break" in 2008 already selected and awarded in many festivals. His second short, "A.B.E. " shot in New York, was completed in May 2011.
He founded his company production Libero Films in 2006.
