April Fool is a compelling critique of the isolating effects of 21st Century existence. The film interweaves a series of seemingly unrelated scenes, and culminates in a random act of violence in South London. Skilfully paced and executed, April Fool is a mesmerising portrait of the various cultures and classes of the capital.
