STORY DESCRIPTION:

April Fool is a compelling critique of the isolating effects of 21st Century existence. The film interweaves a series of seemingly unrelated scenes, and culminates in a random act of violence in South London. Skilfully paced and executed, April Fool is a mesmerising portrait of the various cultures and classes of the capital.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Tom Gentle and James Banus are recent graduates of the University of Kent School of Arts. They have worked on a number of narrative and documentary films, including Only Tony (2010) and The Interview (2008). April Fool is their first collaboration.
