There are only few of them left to the home village. In the middle of emptiness and despair the only way out is to come up with new schemes. Small change has a prize of gold here. A friend Riks ropes a hobby artist Oskar into his following business in the hope for quick wealth through poaching.
This is a two-men story about friendship. In this desperate and primal struggle to get more money and reputation, friends and family are the only ones they have.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
has directed 4 short films, many music videos and several TV commercials.
First short film “Suicide” (1997) won “Baltic Best Amateur Film” Award. The same movie was recognized in Germany “Window to East” Festival with “Best Idea” Award. It also gained some additional prizes from different festivals.
2nd short film “30 Minutes of Silence”(2003) participated in Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
3rd short film “Paradise for Old Man” (2005) – Award for “Best Picture 2005”, Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
4th short film “Dear Friend, You Have My Respect” premiered on 21st of January 2010.
