STORY DESCRIPTION:

An 8 year old girl. A succession of rituals. A world apart. A boy is watching her.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

She studied at the National Superior Drama Conservatory in 2004. As an actress, she plays in a multitude of productions, in theatre plays directed by Philippe Calvario, Christian Benedetti or Daniel Mesguish, as well as in films directed by Elisabeth Rappenneau Etienne Dhaëne or Philippe Garrel.Freshly coming out of the conservatory, she starts up a theatre company and writes creates directes and plays a series of successfull french theatre plays (La grève des fées, Un songe, Roméo et Juliette, Dix ) on various famous french and international stages: Theatre Le Ranelag, Montpellier’s CDN, Odeon Theater, at The Cartoucherie, Tanger Nights Festival, Casablanca International Festival, Fes French Cultural Center.Today, Pauline Bureau tries out a new creation form: Cinema. Supported by a great experienced artistic team, Jean Paul Agostini, Isabelle Le grix, Mathieu Decarli…she gets down to her first cinematographic experience on what as a theme she knows best : Childhood. Her work for this 9 minutes first short film called Anna Lovenstein is focusing with a mute and delicate cut on the fragile and hidden or forgotten bridge between childhood and teenage years.
