Edward is a frail, 78-year-old man who stumbles into a pool of water and emerges as a young man of 28. He goes home and tries to convince his 75-year-old wife to take the plunge as well so she, too, can become young and they can have another lifetime together, but she refuses, saying that she doesn't want to go against the natural flow of things. Edward, though, does not easily give up.
