A group of people get captured in their homes and business and are taken to a makeshift prison. They are soon uncovered as detainees in the “War of Terror.” Santiago, a new recruit, struggles between doing his job and doing the right thing. As the atrocities and sadistic actions against the detainees mount, Santiago tries to expose the truth.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Nectarios was born in Rhodes, Greece and went to the University of Connecticut and received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics. He moved to New York City to pursue filmmaking, where he attended the School of Visual Arts.
He is an award winning filmmaker, who shorts and specs have appeared in numerous film festivals throughout the world. Some of his past feature film credits include high profile independent films, like “Basquiat” In the last three years, he has focused more on editing independent films like “Blueprint,” which was nominated for an IFP Gotham award for best film in 2007 and “Salud,” which is currently making the festival circuit. “Black Site” marks his feature film directorial debut.
