A 1950s beatnik is trying desperately to break into the art scene and win the heart of a beatnik girl. Paralyzed by pressure of his art show and a crushing case of creative block, he creates a robot doppleganger to create the art for him. A robot with an artistic temperament is never a good thing !

Jacqueline Smessaert Brennan has worked in all forms of animation including clay, stop motion, traditional cel and 3d computer animation. During her tenure at Calabash Animation in Chicago she has worked on such award winning independent films as "Stubble Trouble" 2003 (nominated for an Academy Award), "Amerikan Passport" (1999 Slamdance Film Festival Best Documentary) and "The Secret" (2001 Rhode Island International Film Festival Best Feature)
