This story of a religious dystopia happens in the future, when everybody follows Scientific Religion. People eat their dead relatives. All women are illiterate and spend their lifetime reproducing. The movie narrates how an adolescent comes out of the closet in such times to discover some nasty truths about humanity.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Shahul Ameen has previously scripted and directed documentaries on Calicut Medical College, Calicut, and Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. His first screenplay Some Scenes in the Twilight, on few suicide warriors preparing for a war in 17th century Kerala, was published in Malappuram Voice magazine in 2007. Biography of a Sacred Cow is his second screenplay and directorial debut.
