STORY DESCRIPTION:

This is a story of love and revenge between old friends. Jorge Roni cares about those he loves; Carlos and Roberto, who are two of his childhood friends, are among them. Roberto is in jail. Carlos' life is threatened unless he pays a considerable amount of money to his creditors. In an attempt to help both of his friends, Jorge ends up risking his own life.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

BIOGRAPHY AND FILMOGRAPHYMariano Argento was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has attended drama classes with important Argentinean teachers, such as Norma Aleandro, Roberto Saiz and Héctor Bidonde. He has played roles in many “underground” plays, and later he worked in successful TV programmes, such as “90-60-90" Modelos”(Top Models 90-60-90), “La mujer del Presidente”(The President’s wife). He has also worked in a long film: "Pozo de Zorro” (The trench), directed by Miguel Mirra. He started his career as producer and director, with the support of the film-maker José Martínez Suárez in 1998, when he wrote the film script “De profesión laburantes” (The workers). In 1999 he wrote, “El mal...” (The Evil...), which was later produced for TV in 2000. In 2001 he wrote “Las seis tentaciones” (The six temptations), and in 2003, "Amigos de la Infancia”(Friends from Childhood). As author and director, he made “Plan C”, a short film which was presented in national and international festivals, such as Film Video 2000, in Montecatini Terme (Italy), Scrittura e Immagine 2000 in Pescara (Italy), Latinoamericano de cine y video Santa Fe 2000 in Santa Fe (Argentina), among others. In 2001 he wrote and produced “Negro el 17” (17 Black), a comedy programme for television, and in 2003 he wrote, produced, directed and acted in “Amigos de la infancia” (Friends from Childhood). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mariano Argento è nato a Buenos Aires, Argentina, inizia i suoi studi teatrali nell’adolescenza e continua a perfezionarsi in quest’attività assieme a riconosciuti maestri ed attori come Roberto Saiz, Héctor Bidonde e Norma Aleandro, la sua esperienza Interpretativa ricorre programmi di finzione in TV come "90-60-90 Modelli", “La donna del presidente” fra altri, In cinematografia lavorò in lungometraggi come “Buco di volpe” regia di Miguel Mirra. Cominciò la sua carriera come sceneggiatore, produttore e regista sempre consigliato dal cineasta José Martínez Suárez, nel 1998 scrive il suo primo copione cinematografico “Di professione lavoratore”, nel 1999 scrive e produce “Il male”, miniserie d'otto capitoli che produce nel 2000 e "Piano C" cortometraggio invitato a “Film Video 2000” Montecatini – Italia, Scrittura e Immagine 2000 in Pescara – Italia, Latinoamericano de cine y Video Santa Fé 2000 en Santa Fé Argentina. Nel 2001 scrive e produce e dirige “Nero il 17” programma televisivo settimanale e scrive “Le sette tentazioni” copione cinematografico, finalmente nel 2003 scrive produce e dirige “Amici dell'infanzia”. Oggi prepara il suo prossimo film chiamato "Express", sperando poter farlo in coproduzione con un altro paese.
