In a small desert village, the inhabitants are struggling with a drought. The efforts of the officials trying to find a solution fail, and villagers begin to leave. When they hold a Rain Prayer ceremony as a last solution, two orphans are asking a different prayer, praying for the rain not to come. Every night, the stars in the sky blink down at the orphans through the hole in the roof, which has recently collapsed.
