STORY DESCRIPTION:

Sixteen hours. It is an attempt to test my memory after 23 years of exile in lands far away from Baghdad. It is where the heavens and the earth were transformed into bases for the foreing Armies and their lethal weapons. We were left with the destruction; the residue of war and violence with its forlorn colours; the smoke from the flames and the dark blood of the victims that stained the walls and the familiar places. The heads of Iraqi palm trees have been blown away by the missiles as they tried to protect people’s corpses. Life has turned to cold ashes, War and violence provide the vigour. A scream here … and a scream there from the flesh.
