STORY DESCRIPTION:

Jacky, a naïve criminal, and Reuben, a corrupt detective, meet in jail. Once released, they rob a casino together, hoping to get money and fame. Their personalities are put to the test: Jacky, the young romantic, and the hot-tempered Reuben. At the moment of truth, the real leader is discovered.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Matti Harari was born in Tel Aviv. He received a B.A. in Cinema and Television Studies from Tel Aviv University. His degree project included directing a documentary film about the life of Zohar Argov, and producing “King of the Neighborhood” (“Melech HaShchuna”), which was broadcast on TV. In 1995 he began writing and directing mostly for TV. He created series such as “Jaffa Pictures” (“Tmunot Yafo’iot”) and “Youthful Dreams” (“Halomot Neurim”). In the current festival he is presenting his first film, “Black Jack”, a low-budget independent production.Arik Lubetzky was born in Tel Aviv.
