Experimental, poetic and symbolic, (W)HOLE explores destruction and rebirthing in a couple affected by breast cancer (or how they again become whole despite the hole).
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Luis Cerezo (Spain, 1977) is an awarded translator, interpreter, and academic researcher. During the last decade he has produced artwork in the realm of painting and film in Spain, Italy (while at UNIV. DEGLI STUDI DI TRIESTE), Germany, the UK, and the US. His themes explore the contradictions of the human condition, the redefinition of sexuality, life and death. Currently he is a Ph.D. candidate in Literary Translation at the University of Málaga (Spain), and a Ph.D. candidate in Linguistics at Georgetown University (USA).
