The director was first assistant director on Luc Besson's "Le Grand Bleu", Michael Apted's "Bring on the Night", Régis Wargnier's "Indochine" (1993 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film), Enki Bilal's "Bunker Palace Hotel", Souleymane Cissé's "Waati", and Jacques Weber's "Don Juan".
Writer and director of two short fiction films, "Le Cadeau de Maman" ("Mom's Present") and "Effraction" ("Breaking and Entering"), which won numerous awards both in France and abroad.
