Helena (75) is forced to rent the apartment she shared with her friend Clarita (85), who has just passed away. Then comes Kat (25), a girl who raises Helena’s distrust. After a discussion in which the old woman throws the young woman out, they both end up helping Santiago (74), a neighbor with senile dementia. After understanding the way in which Kat faces life, the old woman decides to put aside her fears and opens up to the world that surrounds her.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Max Sotomayor (30) studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Chile. His beginnings in film took place in the art department, where he could participate in productions such as Cirqo, Il Futuro, and The Pearl Button. He developed a career as a photographer, specializing in portraits, appearing in national publications such as The Clinic, Pousta and La Panera. A tale of 2 women is his debut short film as director and screenwriter.
