DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Ferdos Sililo-Simon is a German Iranian filmmaker born in Freiburg, Germany. She grew up far away from the film industry, but always had a love for films. Since 2015 she studies Film Production at the University of Television and Film Munich and produced numerous film projects. During her studies she was part of the Distribution Lab at la fémis in Paris and participated in a Filmmaking course at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. In 2018 she received a one-year DAAD grant and moved to New York City to study screenwriting and directing in the US. Her latest film Alfredo is her short debut she has written, directed, and produced. It premiered at the Golden Door Film Festival (NJ) and screened at the Glendale International Film Festival (CA).
