DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Having worked in front and behind the camera for several years, Sacha decided to plow his energy and focus into “Devilwood” with the view that it would help him to realise his feature film aspirations.
Surrounding himself with like-minded, and thoroughly talented, people, Sacha shot “Devilwood” in just 3 days.
Sacha’s background in shooting promos for the likes of Queen, and tour visuals for U2 and the Rolling Stones, ensured every ounce of the budget was seen on the screen. His experience as an actor also allowed him to find great performances in all the cast, from the leads down to the supporting artistes that give the tavern its vibrancy.
Along with the Hangman Film Company, Sacha is developing a vampire thriller (“Thicker Than Water”) with Jeremy Irons and John Simm attached, an historical horror (“The Hangman”) and an 80s set ‘heist gone right’ film (“Tuesday”).
