It ́s 1955. Rosa a skillful seamstress becomes the only witness of a murder accomplished by her neighbor. In a time of political tension in Argentina, the crime ́s investigation will trigger the final resolution of the conflict.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Mariano Turek was born in Buenos Aires in 1976 and graduated from Universidad del Cine as film director. From 1996 to 2000 he works as a professional crew member in the areas of sound, production design and production, alongside directors such as Andrés Fogwill, Diego Kaplan, Pucho Mentasti, Damián Szifrón, Mahmoud Khalari, Ana Katz, among others. Starting in 2000, he’s specialized in the role of assistant director. Between 2007 and 2011, he works as a Teacher in charge of Assignments for “Directing IV” and “Shooting” at the Universidad del Cine.
During 2011, he directs the 13-episode series “Diario de Viaje” and the 8-episode series “Misión Aventura”, produced por Conicet and Paka-Paka. “About a woman” is his first feature.LUJÁN LOIOCO
She graduated from Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires as a film director. During her years as a film student, she participated in different short films. In 2010, she was honored with an Ibermedia grant to assist the “Feature Screenplay Writing Workshop” in Spain. Since that year, she worked as a producer and screenwriter for different tv networks such as Canal Encuentro, Paka Paka and Disney Latinoamerica. ”The girl in yellow heels” is her first feature as a screenwriter, director and producer.
