STORY DESCRIPTION:

The technicians of the SFVP society (Funeral services - Paris) are in charge, nights and days, of the disposal and transportation of the corpses in the city. Intervening in any circumstances, they continually carry raw and ordinary death. « The men who keep Watch » is a complete immersion with this bunch of men.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Born in 1979 in Paris, Diane Sorin studied drawing and photography in Strasbourg and Berlin. After two years in Spain, working on her own photographic project, she comes back to Paris and works as a visual artist for feature films (as a painter and drawer). In 2012, she collaborates for the first time as a director of photography on a documentary film and start making videos. In 2013, she follows the documentary filmmaking workshop of the Atelier Varan in Paris. During this period of research, she meets the protagonists of her first film « Des hommes qui veillent », that she starts to shoot on her own just after the workshop.
