STORY DESCRIPTION:

BRAHIM fights against the inevitable. In fact, the former delinquent who had already seen too much decides that he will ensure a better future for his sister Sonia, a future far away from his district and from his old life, at any cost. Unfortunately, that night he does not receive his salary and can not pay for his sister’s school fees. From this moment Brahim is willing to do anything he can to defy fate and save his family, even reconnect with his past risking to lose everything.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

After a few years at Toulouse’s ESAV watching too many films and making clumsy experimental movies, Julien Hérisson wrote, directed and edited self-produced short films, such as “Julie s’en va”, “18heures12” or “Barbe Rousse”. These were met positively at festivals but did not allow him to earn a living. Meanwhile, he was approached by a strange animal called Easy Tiger. “Marianne” is the first short film he managed to get a small income out of, which he isn’t ashamed of, but this still doesn’t balance out his accounts. But you never know where films will lead people….
