Alexey is a young man in search of himself. He comes to the ‘Reality’ project casting, its authors suggest him to shoot his everyday life himself, and Alexey agrees enthusiastically. He becomes the protagonist of his own movie.Alexey is an openly homosexual, he doesn’t conceal his preferences from friends and acquaintances. He is in search of a boyfriend. Many of his female friends, with whom he generously shares intimate details and difficulties of his personal life, constantly get in frame. Everything would be alright, if Alexey’s mother could accept his sexuality. Alexey comes to visit her and admits that he likes boys, saying ‘Don’t you anticipate any grandchildren from me’. All this ends with a drunken scandal, Alexey leaves the house with an intention never to come back and slams the door.We find Alexey at Tarkovsky film festival, where he apparently came to rest. At the festival, he meets a local boy Grisha, and a stormy holiday romance begins...
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Dmitry was born on 25.02.1985 in Moscow, Russia.
Graduated from musical school (piano).
Graduated from Shchukin Theater Institute majoring in acting.
During graduate school defended dissertation “Elements of Vakhtangov school of 2nd year of education”. During this time he started his acting career in films and theater.
Acted in more than 15 films.
In 2008 he had a major role in film “Lake” by a French director Philippe Grandrieux.
After his work with Philippe, Dimitry decided to pursue a career in directing, and in 2010 graduated from Marina Razbezhkina Production Studio of Documentary Film. He filmed two documentaries “Tania 5th” and “Alekhin”.
