In their collective hallucination of Olivier Messiaen's monumental organ work 'Apparition of the Eternal Church,' artists including John Cameron Mitchell, Marga Gomez, Sandi Dubowski, Jackie Beat, Harold Bloom, Lemony Snicket and Ana Matronic unveil an imaginative landscape rich with the imagery of architecture, religious ritual, spiritual ecstasy, the grave, hellfire, violence and sex, hilariously swinging between sepulchral shadows and heights of spiritual and erotic exaltation before a final revelation of Messiaen's invisible cathedral.
