STORY DESCRIPTION:

Aldo Gastaldi, battle nicknamed “ BISAGNO”,”first Italian resistance fighter”. It’s almost seventy years since he mysteriously died, the last witnesses expose a resistance far from rethoric, enlightened by their commander’s still clear look. “Bisagno, your light eyes still look at us.” ( Elena Bono)
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Marco Gandolfo was born in Sestri Levante but he lives and works in Rome. After a some years’ TV working experience, Marco came to make documentary films in 2008, shooting and editing in “ Greater-Defeating Aids” by Emmanuel Exitu, awarded by Spike Lee as the best documentary film of Babelgum Online Film Festival . Then Marco Gandolfo took part in making different documentary films such as “The Akram Tree” by Francesco Cabras and Alberto Molinari and “Io Sono Qui” by Emmanuel Exitu. “Bisagno” is his first feature documentary film as a director.
