Primavera confronts her mother about the mystery that surrounds the deaths of her sister and father. The reasons behind the adoption of her two sisters, and why her family became the first Spanish equestrian vaulting team.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
Primavera Ruiz is from Madrid, Spain and has directed five shorts and she won best short film for Olas de Corazon at the Universidad de Camilo Jose Cela. She wrote and directed a short comedy called Luisa and Telma (10mins) and wrote and produced Aita (8 mins). Ana and I is her first feature production. Primavera is an active young member of film and television industry in Spain. She also works as a Line Producer/Production Manager. She has produced 3 shorts for the award winning director, Esteban Crespo. The last short Aquel No Era Yo (20 mins) won best short at The Goya Awards, 2013 and has been nominated for a Oscar 2014. Primavera has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Camilo Jose Cela (Spain), a Certificate in Filmmaking from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU (USA) and a Masters in Digital Cinematography, from ECAM (Spain). From 1997-2002 she was Captain of the Spanish Equestrian Vaulting Team and attended the world championships in several countries.
