YIDOCM PROJECT PREMIERE IN ROMA (Cinema Nuovo Aquila) We present, within the framework of the Innovation Project Youngsters I.Doc Makers (YIDOCM), granted by European Commission ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME, KEY ACTION 2: “Strategic partnerships in the field of education training and youth”, the documentary “The Climate Puppets, cut the ropes”, a documentary created by young people from 5 European schools in Madrid, Berlin, Rome and Vienna. The documentary show four stories on two issues of particular relevance to the future of young Europeans: Climate change and migration in Europe and connections that can be found in between. These topics are addressed from the point of view of several young people, who personally face these global challenges. The event will be at Cinema Aquila, Via L’Aquila 68, Roma at 9:30 with the following program (languages: English, Italian and Spanish): • Introduction to the event by the project coordinators • Screening of the documentary “The Climate Puppets, cut the ropes” (VO with Italian subtitles) • Conference: Climate Change and Migration Flows, two major challenges for young communicators in Europe • Round table with the authors of the documentary This is the third multiplier event of the YIDOCM project. The first one was in Tarragona, Spain within the REC, International Film Festival in December 2016, the second has been in Berlin within the International Students Film Festival in Potsdam, Germany the 27th of April 2017. The four multiplier event will be at the CinemAmbiente in Torino the 1st of June 2017 and the last one will be in Vienna at the CityHall Festival at the end of June 2017.
