A poor day laborer, having worked his whole life trying to raise the social status of his family almost succeeds only to be thwarted at the last minute by the innocent but devastating playfulness of his child. Twelfth Night is a cynic parable about fate and fleeting fortune.
Kathrin Anna Stahl has served as assistant director on over a dozen short and feature films and works as an actress in Munich, Germany. In her own work, she pays tribute to the rural area of her homeland and also shot Twelfth Night, her second short film, in Northern Bavaria close to Czech Republic. Both her short films have been funded by the Film and Television Fund of the Bavarian State (FFF Bayern) and her first feature film screenplay just went into production.
