Ali, a Jordanian Bedouin boy, embarks on a trip to the borders of Aqaba while on the other side, in Ilat, Noor, an Arab Israeli girl, travels with her parents. Ali and Noor’s destinies become entwined after a series of spontaneous events which lead to an inevitable encounter; still,
there are obstacles that stand in their way which they have to overcome.
Said Najmi was born and raised in Jordan, and finished his degree from the University of Huddersfield, UK, in Multimedia Technology studies. In 2007, he directed his first short film The Other Side of My Neighborhood. Then he was granted a scholarship in Masters of Cinematic Arts in the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts, Aqaba – Jordan. His graduate short film Al Nai received an award for best picture at the Con-Can Corto Tokyo 2010 also a Special Mention in the FICMEC, Lebanon 2010.
