The imminent death of an old man brings to surface the interwoven relationships of an isolated family. Confronted with the inevitable nature of their ephemeral existence, each one of them reacts in different ways.
Simon Farmakas graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in Media Communications. He worked as Assistant Director and Production Manager for features, shorts, the award-winning documentary “My Cyprus”, music videos and commercials. In 2006, he produced and directed the short “Airport for Sale” which screened at film festivals internationally. In 2009, his second short film “Absent” premiered. “Stahia” is his third short film. He is currently working as a television producer/director and is developing a screenplay.
