In the Andes in southern Colombia, the indigenous and peasant communities resist the armed conflict between the Colombian army and FARC guerrillast hrough peaceful means. The indigenous people
are today only 3% of the Colombian population, and are in danger extermination. In the Cauca region, however, they are 80% and are leading a process of genuine democratic participation in order to achieve a model of development that respects people and the environment. Two women are the key witnesses: Enelia Salinas, Mayor of Caldono, and Aida Quilcué indigenous leader of the movement in Cauca region.
Daniele Pozzi graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan,
since a few year is living in Rome, working in television. He has achieved several works of video art and
short films. He is very much involved in visual arts. Myrice Tansini attended the “Libera Università del Cinema” in Rome. She has a degree in Anthropology and has made several documentaries. She works for television.
