Daniela and Paolo decide to take a vacation in Vang Vieng in Laos, practicing tubing, rafting and having fun. After an impromptu rave on the river, followed by downhill tubing, the two get Lost in Laos. Having also lost their belongings, they begin to wander around a different Laos to the one they pictured. In Italy, the parents become alarmed, meanwhile Daniela and Paolo embark on a revelatory journey becoming the guests of a small village where they receive care, hospitality and friendship.
Alessandro Zunino is a photographer and filmmaker from Genoa. His multitudes skills saw him being a professor of photography, advertising, Language Technology for film and television in public and private institutions. Since 1993 he has been working with leading public and private companies in Italy and abroad such as: University of Genoa, Porto Antico Genoa spa, Genoa Exhibition, Carige Foundation, La Scala in Milan, Teatro Nuovo in Turin, Enrico Ruggeri, Antonella Ruggiero, Gian Maria Testa, Lindsay Kemp, Ascanio Celestini, Arnoldo Foa, Claudio Bisio, Luca Bizzarri, Laban Centre in-London, Kremlin Bicetre in Paris. Alessandro wrote and directed many short films, medium length features, advertisements and film clips.
