The program includes 6 films by young Ukrainan filmmakers that represent diversity in themes, expressive media, experimentation, genres and stories told on the big screen.

Pryputni by Arkadiy Nepytaliuk (2017) A dramatic comedy where the criminal subject dances with the everyday life of a small Ukrainian country.  Irony, absurdity, expressive characters and beautiful landscapes.  He won award for directing at the Odessa International Film Festival and the Ukrainian national award “Zolota Dzyga” for actress (Nina Naboka).

My father is my mother’s brother by Vadim Ilkov (2018, documentary).  A touching family history and creative inspiration in life and art.

Short films:
Desaturated by Marina Stepanska (2019) – The new film by one of the prominent young Ukrainian filmmakers.
My woman by Pavel Ostrikov (2018) – A new comedy by one of the most famous young talent, her precarious film “Vypusk 97” won a prize at the Locarno Film Festival as a short film mile.
Sensiz by Nariman Aliev (2016) – A film that began to form the individual style of the young Ukrainian director.  His new movie “Home” will represent Ukraine in the competition for the 2019 Oscar.
Weightlifter by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk (2018 documentary) – A documentary that tells what can be the price of victory in professional sport.  Awarded at the Kiev IFF Molodist and Grand-prix of Warsaw IFF.
