Andrea Zaccariello won the Officina Filmmaster contest at age 18. He also won a series of prizes for his short films and commercials, including Best Director at the 1996 Nastro d’Argento for “Gioco da Vecchi”, selection at the 2002 Berlin Film Festival for “Una specie di appuntamento”, Best Movie at the 25Hour Festival for “The Wife”, and Best Screenplay at Nastro d’Argento for “TV.”
