Lukasz wants to get out of a socially deprived life. He longs for social recognition and wants what he has missed in his life: loyalty. As an henchman working for the Hamburg milieu medium size boss ‘Milan’ he believes he has found it. As Lukasz ‘social advancement begins to take shape, the death of their mother brings his little brother Kamil in front of Lukaszs doorstep, after years of separation.
Born in 1981 in Zabrze (Poland), Jarek Duda moves his first cinematic steps at sixteen with a Super 8mm camera bought at a flea market. Stored the camera away, he plaid drums in various bands. After graduation, Jarek started a record label and published with EMI Music Publishing. After two years he quit his job and he has since worked as a director of music videos and commercials for companies such as Sony, Warner and Universal Music. In Germany, he studied film directing at the International Film School, Cologne. Homeless is his graduation film.
