MASTERCLASS – HOW TO WRITE A STORY

This workshop has no age limitations and is aimed to both those who call themselves an amateur, or who are already a professional, to those who already have a project in mind or in development, or to those who only want to understand if writing can become an indispensable pastime in the future, or a real profession.
In addition, to provide some important technical advice and to indicate a work order aimed at improving the fluidity of the approach to this world, during the workshop we will work together to create or better define new stories.

The eye of cinema – pitching
The end of the workshop will be followed by a pitching among young finalists in the screenplay contest of the festival. The focus on pitching aims to be a moment of concrete discussion on how to effectively present a project to the international film industry.
Participants in the contest in the different sections dedicated to the screenplay of the Riff will undergo a first selection by the official jury of the festival and, subsequently, the suitable works will be presented to producers and distributors, during pitching. These works will also have the opportunity to access the “Produzioni dal Basso” platform to activate crowdfunding.
