What is one to do when left alone, questions arising from everywhere as a result of a runaway lover who couldn’t care to give his last words on the matter? This is where Guido finds himself, and he is in desperate need to talk. By conversing to an imaginary Sebastien, the boyfriend who left him without stating his reasons, and using Sebastien as an extension of himself, Guido is set to resolve in his own head all the chagrin over a failed relationship. But not before revisiting some painfully beautiful remembrances…
With a probing psychological insight, Maurizio Von Trapp brings us inside Guido’s world, travelling between imagination, dream and reality, blurring the line between them. Using contrasting colours and dream-like sequences of erotic intimacy, we are invited to share Guido’s utter loneliness and desperation.
Maurizio Von Trapp was born in Brazil in 1987. From Chilean and Italian descent, he now lives in the UK, where he pursues his studies at the University of the Arts London.
