Story description:
Game Shop - an experimental film containing a montage of metaphores and rhythms that create a hallucinatory effect. The surreal visions of the Game Shop are an offbeat mix of nightmare-tinged fantasies, all set to life in a series of abstruse set pieces.
A suicidal salesman of a video game store is lost in between the imaginary world of video games and the reality. He tries to escape from the technology nightmare to find his love and freedom. Game Shop showcases a vision of quivering characters and surreal music in a shadowy, self-contained dream world.
Directed by Yuri Shapochka. Cinematography by Dan Goldfarb. Starring Alik Antselevich and Natasha Reshetnikova.

Director Biographical
note:
Yuri Shapochka
Yuri Shapochka emigrated from the Ukraine where as a Producer and Director for Ukrainian Television, he created documentary and popular TV programs that were shown throughout the country and abroad. Yuri has written for all media. A former full-time journalist, his stories and cultural insights have appeared in daily newspapers and magazines.
In 1997 Yuri and his business partner Steven Antselevich founded Aurora Productions, a powerful, full-service film and multimedia production company in Birmingham, AL. Since 2002 Yuri Shapochka has been working at Freeshape, Inc. as a Creative Director.
His current film projects include comedy "Ivan Goes Abroad" and a short dark comedy titled "High Expectations".
Yuri continues to live in Birmingham, Alabama, and he enjoys painting and photography.
