The machinima and the birth of a genre

Screening of VolaVola first narrative feature film made in Second Life and meeting with the director Berardo Carboni.
VolaVola, by Berardo Carboni is an innovative film from which screenplay arises two souls: the first movie, filmed entirely in a virtual world, will be
shown at the festival in the special event section dedicated to this innovative technology and the second film will be produced in 2010 mostly in a
real contest , integrating the use of traditional film techniques and the involvement of real actors with the use of avatars interacting also in physical
environments. The cast includes some of the most popular avatar of the Metaverse: Aimee Weber, Frank Koolhaas, Fau Ferdinand, Bibles oh,
and their voices in the Italian version, are voiced by actors including: Alessandro Haber, Sabrina Impacciatore, Federico Rosati, Sofia Vigliar and dubbers
like Roberta Pellini, Andrea Mete and Flavio Aquiloni.
During the meeting with the director we will be able to discover some of the secrets of this new film genre and we will be able also to give suggestions
in order to help develop the storyline of the film that will be realized by actors in flesh and blood in the coming months
Vola Vola is a choral story that tries to tell contemporary various cuttings, comparing lifestyles, feelings and world views of three different generations.
The different events in the film, at the beginning apparently unrelated, are intertwined through their relationship with the media. The use
of a communication instrument in fact determines in all the characters a different definition of needs and a different choice of aspirations.
